Defense Circuit

Caring for the tribe so the tribe survives.

The Defense Circuit is the other Tribal sub-circuit and is the part of the design that protects and nourishes the people you're connected to. Its three channels — Synthesis (19-49), Preservation (27-50), and the Family (37-40, shared with Ego) — are about feeding people, agreeing on values, sensing what your community needs, and bargaining for what keeps the group alive. Where the Ego circuit handles material survival through willpower and contracts, the Defense circuit handles emotional and instinctive survival through care, sensitivity to needs, and shared values. Together with the Ego circuit, the Defense circuit ensures that the tribe can keep going from one generation to the next.
