Above that sits the same three-phase life every 6th line walks: experimentation in your 20s, retreat and observation through your 30s and 40s, and embodied authority after ~50. Until the third phase lands, your friends are the substrate of your influence. After it lands, your life itself becomes a model others learn from.
4rd Line: The Opportunist
The 4th line is the Opportunist — the foundation of the second floor, where personal life crosses over into transpersonal community. Their gift is networking, friendliness, and influence through the people they already know. Quality of life for a 4th line is in direct proportion to the quality of their network. They cannot prospect cold; they need to transition from one relationship into the next, never letting go of one secure footing until the next is in place.
6th Line: The Role Model
The 6th line is the Role Model — sitting on the roof. The 6th line lives a famous three-phase life: from birth to ~30 they live a chaotic 3rd-line process of trial and error; around 30 the first Saturn Return takes them up on the roof for ~20 years of withdrawal, observation and inner work; around the Kiron Return (~50) they come down off the roof as the optimistic, embodied Role Model. The wisdom is genuinely earned — and 6th lines are most vulnerable to making the wrong calls if they don't know their own Authority.
